Rep. Don Bacon, R-Neb., on Tuesday introduced a resolution to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., for her remarks about Jewish students and antisemitism.

Omar spoke with pro-Palestinian protesters at Columbia University last month, the site of large-scale demonstrations against Israel, where her remarks drew widespread criticism.

“I think it is really unfortunate that people don’t care about the fact that all Jewish kids should be kept safe, and that we should not have to tolerate antisemitism or bigotry for all Jewish students, whether they are pro-genocide or anti-genocide,” Omar said.
