Patriot missile defense systems reportedly will be deployed to Ukraine faster than originally planned.
CNN, quoting defense officials, reported the quicker-than-expected weaponry delivery, a message echoed earlier Tuesday about an earlier delivery date of Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
A group of 65 Ukrainian soldiers will soon complete their training on the systems at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, then head to Europe for additional training on the two Patriot systems that will be sent to Ukraine in the coming weeks, the officials said at Fort Sill, CNN reported.
