Little work needs to be done in the U.S. Senate on a bill “Democrats hate,” Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told Newsmax on Tuesday.

House Republicans took a major step forward on President Donald Trump’s agenda May 22, when they approved a legislative package that combines tax breaks, spending cuts, border security funding, and other priorities.

While appearing in the studio on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America,” Jordan spoke about potential bill revisions in the Senate under Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D.
