A federal judge has ruled that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) should have easier access to Treasury Department files.

The judge had earlier been at odds with the Trump administration over access to files detailing government payments.

But U.S. District Judge Jeannette Vargas on Tuesday gave a team of four DOGE analysts full access to the Treasury Department Bureau of the Fiscal Service. The bureau is responsible for managing government payments that total well into the trillions.
