Ben Carson to Newsmax: US Needs Inspiring Leader, Not Puppet in Biden

Dr. Ben Carson, the secretary of Housing and Urban Development in the Trump administration, warned Monday on Newsmax about the dangers of propping up a political figure unfit to serve, such as President Joe Biden, with so many conflicts at home and abroad.

Biden, 81, the oldest-serving U.S. president, has shown signs of cognitive decline.  Department of Justice special counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s handling of classified documents said a reason Biden wasn’t being charged was at trial, Biden “would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory. … It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him – by then a former president well into his 80s – of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

“What’s very concerning to me about this situation is the people who are propping up Joe Biden,” Carson told “Eric Bolling The Balance.” “They know he is not mentally competent. They also know that we have a raging war going on in Ukraine. We have big trouble in the Middle East. We have China potentially eyeing Taiwan. We have a whole series of problems in this country, as well.
