President Donald Trump’s sweeping tax and spending bill passed the House 215-214-1 early Thursday morning, beating House Speaker Mike Johnson’s Memorial Day deadline.
Reps. Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, and Thomas Massie, R-Ky., voted with every Democrat, while House Freedom Caucus Chair Andy Harris, R-Md., allowed the measure to pass by voting present.
The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration.
